This time I'd thought I'd show you how to tie the Palomar knot. fishNow preferred knots are a very personal thing but the Palomar is regarded very highly by many top anglers due to its reliability, and it works equally well with either monofilament or braid. Add a dollop of superglue for added reassurance. fishTo start, double over 4-5" of line and pass through the eye. Tie an overhand knot , but do tighten yet. Pass the loop over the hook and back over the main line. Moisten with saliva and tighten slowly. fishThere you have it, simplicity itself.
